To all DUWP-Staffers:

I would like to know how many Proof Reader-Editors and Pencilers are available this week to next week. If you are a PR-ED and/or Penciller, and is available to work on PROJECT ONE, please leave a comment in this journal or note this account.
We also need available Colourists, but not as crucial as the PR-ED and Colourists.

Another Note, I am quite disappointed that there's a little to no discussion that had happen during the project one voting. Also I have noticed that not all of the DUWP-Prod staff had registerd in the forums. PLEASE REGISTER A.S.A.P.! It is a must! All news, discussions and work-assignments will be posted in the forums, and only the forums!
Those staff members that are not going to register in a span of 2 weeks will be expelled. This is just a matter of participating. A single comment on a project, or critique for each Staffer would be good for all, the project and the Production group.

I repeat. ALL STAFFERS THAT WILL NOT REGISTER IN THE FORUM IN A SPAN OF TWO WEEKS WILL BE EXPELLED!

I advice that all Staffers, may you be in the Pre-production, Production, or Post Production team to please participate in this activity. A team cannot work effectively in a project if they do not like the project to be worked on.

There's also a possibility that DUWP Productions will do 2 projects at the same time, depending on how many entries are there. More details tomorrow.

DUWP Productions are still accepting applicants for Script Writers, Toners, TypeSetters and Quality Checkers.
Those who haven't even considered passing their application tests even after the deadline. Please consider your selves out.

I would like to remind everyone that the deadline for PROJECT ONE is drawing near. The entries for PROJECT ONE will close at exactly MAY 18, 0000h, Pacific Time Zone (a minute past the deadline, May 18 1600h GMT+8 ). Please read the guideline below for submissions and queries.

I would also like to invite everyone, specially comic artists to join the Original Character Battle Contest 3 that will be held soon in *OCBC's account.

Please always look at the forum announcements for news and updates. I will not post the complete details here in the DA journals.

Since then Pre-Production team is filled, I will issue now the first order of business.

All Story Contributors to submit a one shot (complete story). You are given 2-3 weeks for this task. This is not limited to SCs but the whole team as well, as long as you think that you have a plausible, exciting and interesting story that the team can work on. But stories contributed by the SCs are given more priority.

One Shots are expected to be at least 7 pages to 15 pages the most, in written form (10pt Arial). These must be convert able to 21 to 32 comic pages.

Please post the stories in the Project One thread for evaluation, and chosing. The 1st story project will be chosen by votes. Please post them in individual threads if you have more that one.

PLEASE READ THE PROJECT ONE THREAD IN THE ANNOUNCEMENT FORUMS FIRST BEFORE POSTING ANY STORIES.

Clarification for the Closing of Applications for SC, PR and ED

It was announced that applications for Story Contributors, Proof Readers and Editors was closed due to the exceeding number of applicants. This announcement doesn't affect the ones that had already applied for the position, only to those who will and was thinking of applying for the position. HOWEVER, I will only accept the first 5 to finish their applications, out of 8, of the people who applied for the PR-ED Position and ask the other applicants for the PR-ED position to apply for another position. As this is said. It is also to apply in all Pre Production Positions.
